IR 12

Trail Overview

Indian Ridge 12 begins at the Indian Ridge Staging Area. It climbs out from the parking area with a large hairpin switchback and passes a scenic waterfall and several trail intersections. The route winds through a lush forest with dark coal dirt, featuring shelfy sections along the hillside, some blind corners, and occasional narrower spots. The surface remains smooth with shallow ruts throughout. As it nears Ashland ATV Resort, the trail widens. From the resort, riders follow the paved Totem Pole Road south, where the trail resumes across the road at the next sign. Keep following the trail until it ends at the intersection with Trail 16, which connects riders to the western half of the Indian Ridge Trail System.
