Trail Overview

Trail 50 in the Indian Ridge Trail System is less than half a mile long and begins from its south end with a steep incline featuring small loose rocks and shallow ruts on black coal dirt. It transitions into a shelfy section that runs along a particularly scenic hillside, with striking rock walls embedded in the slope beside the trail. Layers of embedded and loose rock add some variety to the terrain but do not noticeably increase difficulty. The trail ends at a three-way intersection with Trail 52 and a singletrack.
