Coe - FS 81

This is a forest road in the Gauley Ranger District of Monongahela National Forest that connects FS 76 at Big Rock Campground to FS 101 near Bishop Knob Campground. It is notable as it provides access between those campgrounds and is a bit of a shortcut to Big Rock Campground if coming from the north or to Bishop Knob Campground if coming from the south. It also provides access to several private tracts of land to the south of Bishop Knob Campground. It's a scenic and peaceful drive through dense forest that has about 1000 feet of elevation change between the high point to the north and the low point in the river valley to the south. It can see a fair amount of traffic going between those campgrounds. There are no dispersed sites along this Forest Service route.
