BM 98

BM 98 is a 0.5-mile an advanced SxS route that also accesses the BM 199 single-track. From the west entrance, it begins with an extremely steep, rocky ascent featuring loose rock and foot-deep ruts, followed by tight switchbacks and embedded rock layers forming 6-inch shelves. The trail maintains a steep grade throughout, then descends the backside of the hill with equally steep, rutted switchbacks--making it a challenging detour best suited for experienced drivers.
