Trail Overview

This 1.5-mile trail starts flat and easy along the hilltop on the east side. The surface is smooth with shallow ruts and passes by some oil and gas infrastructure. As the trail heads west, it begins a wide, easy descent alongside scenic hillsides. Expect some shallow ruts and both embedded and loose rock, but the grade remains semi-steep, mostly gradual, and manageable. Overall, it's a very easy and consistent route.

This is overall an easy trail with minor rocky spots, but ideal for all skill levels. This is considered Moderate by Hatfield McCoy's rating system.
