This easy trail is characteristic of many easy access routes throughout the Bearwallow system and the broader Hatfield-McCoy network. It follows a wide shelf path with minimal rocks and ruts, offering smooth travel and good visibility. There are no obstacles to note, and the trail is wide enough for two-way traffic in most sections. Expect semi-steep grades in places and scenic views, including striking rock walls with old mining auger holes cut into the stone.
