Trail Overview

This is an extremely rough rocky dirt road. The road goes by several different reservoirs and dams. It has very scenic views from on top of a ridge line looking down at the Columbia River and the city of Wenatchee.The road is slow going for most due to the rocky surface. Best to air your tires down on this one. This is rattlesnake country so be aware. We saw a few on this trail.

Difficulty

This is a very rocky and rough road. Make sure your tires are in good shape and you have a spare. When this area gets rain the trail can be very slick as well.

nice fall colors all along the way. few spots with an overlook of Wenatchee town. lots of camping spots, all empty at this time. there is no one special view point, it's just the drive, but it's fun. loose rocks all along the way. most cars can make it through this patch.
