Trail Overview

Sunset Trail is a 0.52-mile point-to-point trail open to vehicles 96 inches wide or less. The trail follows a mostly grassy surface with numerous short climbs and a single log crossing, making for a fun, flowing drive through the forest. A Discover Pass is required for recreation and parking within the Sadie Creek ORV Area.

Difficulty

Sunset Trail is rated Easy. The grassy terrain, frequent small climbs, and lone log crossing provide mild obstacles that are manageable for most high-clearance four-wheel-drive vehicles. Wet conditions may reduce traction on the grassy hills, but the trail remains relatively straightforward compared to the more technical routes in the Sadie Creek 4x4 Course.
