Trail Overview

This is a gradual and easy ATV route running north from the southern boundary of the ORV park. It begins as a wide, dry, and dusty path that traverses grassy slopes and sparse pine forest, maintaining a fairly straight and level course with only minor elevation changes. The trail is well-suited for ATVs, with light rutting and occasional water or mud patches. It goes through numerous unmarked intersections, though this route feels more like a main route. Near the north end, the trail descends westward alongside a fence line at the park's boundary.

Access Description

Liberty Lake ORV Park offers about 16 miles of trails on 350 acres open to dirt bikes and ATVs, with a web of mostly unmarked trails forming a maze of interconnected routes. While a few sections are marked with difficulty ratings, most intersections are unsigned, so navigation can be confusing. A 1,000-pound weight limit applies to all ATVs. The staging area is a dirt parking lot on S Idaho Road, with space for trailers and a pit toilet. Riders should be aware that the area is subject to seasonal closures during peak fire danger--check Spokane County recreation alerts before visiting.
