Trail Overview
This is a short, dirt-based forest road that used to go much further. The trail is overgrown with vegetation and has some rock garden sections. At the end of the trail, it has been made into a loop with a large campsite, and the original trail continues, but is extremely overgrown and only accessible by smaller powersport vehicles. The trail itself has mud holes, ruts, and washes that are under a foot, but most vehicle types should be able to travel with no issue. If you take the trail further past the campsite, there are two other trails that split off, one in each direction. The camp spot at the end is large, flat, and grassy with multiple pre-existing fire rings. The South Fork Barnaby Creek runs along the edge of the campsite, making it a prime Base Camp for the area, as it is large enough for many rigs and trailers for ATVs. This has also been used as a hunting camp, as there is a hanger for game that has been built onto two trees. Cell phone service was weak, and there are no amenities on the trail. You are about an hour away from the nearest supplies and services.
Difficulty
This is a narrow, one-lane, dirt-based trail. There are a couple of mud holes on the trail along with sections of rock garden. The trail is overgrown and has few places to pass. The trail used to continue further, but now ends with a path that is too small for most ATVs to travel. High clearance 4x4 is recommended.
