Skok Wynoochee Connector

Skok Wynoochee Crossover is a short, moderately challenging connector route that links FS‑2300 to the Dusk Peak Loop deep in Olympic National Forest. Ideal for high-clearance 4x4s, it offers a rugged, remote transition between larger trail systems across the southern Olympic Peninsula. The route follows unmaintained gravel and dirt forest roads with occasional rough sections, potholes, and possible washouts, especially after rain. While not technical, its backcountry setting requires careful planning and offline navigation. This section is not individually signed or maintained as a recreation trail—motorized access is regulated by Motor Vehicle Use Maps (MVUMs), which should be reviewed ahead of time to confirm legal travel.
