Trail Overview

Short and Dirty Road is an easy gravel surface road, that is located in the Wenatchee National Forest. As you drive on a clear day every once in a while you'll get a peak of a mountain through the trees. You will find a couple of camp spots along this route with small fire rings. The end of the trail stops at a small camp spot, there are a few other roads at the end that continue on, but they become very overgrown.

Based off the last trail update I don’t think he made it to the actual trail this is not a 1 difficulty rated trail. I would not recommend this trail to anyone that’s not very experienced! It’s a steep tight technical trail to complete the loop you’d run across spruce creek to short and dirty ridge back down. Note the short and dirty ridge is a one way trial down the mountain for sxs and 4x4 rigs. Dirt bikes can run up the short and dirty ridge. There was still some down trees on the ridge, looks like we were the first group of the season to make it down the ridge. Definitely one of my favorite loops but proceeded with caution and have fun 🤘

at the beginning there is a little rockslide in the middle of the road but 4x4 jeep went over it and rough towards the top but went up and down the trail.

there wasn't a down tree there was a lot of big rocks on the road like there was a rock slide.at the time I did not have a lift kit.I have been building my 2011 jeep wrangler up and only thing I haven't done yet is a lift kit but I just today put a 3 inch lift kit on. I am going back up there on the 27th so this Saturday we'll see how it does this weekend. I can't wait.
