Trail Overview

This lowland forest trail follows the Sauk River bottoms and offers a short but obstacle-filled route. Drivers will encounter mud holes, steep hill climbs, tight turns, and off-camber sections throughout. In spring and summer, it is important to be cautious of heavy overgrowth and stinging nettles, while winter and early spring can leave sections flooded from rain and runoff. The fall season provides variety due to unpredictable weather. Rain at any time of year will increase the overall difficulty compared to drier conditions.
