Trail Overview
Santa's Village is a 0.47-mile point-to-point dirt bike-only trail in the Foothills ORV system that provides a welcome change of pace from the wider trails found throughout the rest of the network. The trail is tight and winding with several very narrow sections that weave through the trees. Riders will encounter a couple of small log crossings, several grippy off-camber rock faces, and a handful of footpeg-height stumps that reward careful line choice. A Discover Pass is required for recreation and parking within the Foothills ORV system.
Difficulty
Santa's Village is rated Moderate due to its narrow corridor and technical features. The tight turns and limited handlebar clearance require precise bike placement, while several footpeg-height stumps and small log crossings reward careful line choice. The trail also includes a few off-camber rock faces, one of which is tall enough to be intimidating for less experienced riders. Fortunately, the rock provides excellent traction in dry conditions, making the obstacle more approachable than it first appears. Riders comfortable with slow-speed bike control should have little difficulty, but beginners may find the confined trail and rock features challenging.
