Orient-First Thought

This is primarily a county road excursion ride. The First Though Mountain road takes you to the top of the mountain with some excellent views of the mountains and valley areas surrounding the mountain. The county roads are all gravel, and usually fairly well maintained. During the summer and fall months, they can become very dusty. The loop route takes you through mostly privately owned lands along side the road, with a portion of the route on paved road going north past Pierre Lake.
