Trail Overview

Harp packed gravel road that runs from the Pass Creek Trail Head to the Washington/Idaho state line marker. There are multiple small lakes off this trail, and it is very scenic as you pass massive granite rock formations. The trail has some washboard and major potholes to navigate, but any vehicle type could traverse this trail. Camping is allowed along this entire route, and there are multiple dispersed campsites along the way, as well as some spur trails to explore. Cell phone service was weak, and there were no amenities other than a vault toilet along the trail at the Roosevelt Grove of the Ancient Cedars trailhead along the way. Travel prepared, as you are over an hour from the nearest services in Priest Lake, Idaho, or Metalline Falls, Washington.
