Trail Overview
Mine Creek is a basic, straightforward spur road that serves primarily as an access point rather than a lengthy drive. The driving portion of the route is short and easygoing, ultimately dead-ending at a locked gate where the land transitions into private logging property.
While the vehicle trail ends early, the gate area provides an excellent staging point to park and continue your adventure on foot. Beyond the gate, there are miles of closed logging roads available to hike and explore. Keep in mind that proceeding past the gate onto the private timberland will likely require a valid Weyerhaeuser walk-in or non-motorized recreational permit.
Difficulty
This is a simple, highly accessible spur road that presents no technical obstacles. The drivable portion is smooth and easily handled by any standard vehicle, serving mostly as a brief approach to the private property gate and hiking access point.
