Trail Overview

This 7.1-mile point-to-point trail takes you up on the ridge of the Big Meadow Valley. This trail is a fun alternative for the trip back down Big Meadow Creek Trail. There are some steep ascents/descents on this trail as well as several places to stop and enjoy the views of the valley and mountains and have lunch.

This is a single-vehicle-width trail with mud holes up to 12 inches in depth.

First couple of miles is in super nice condition, with lots of firewood cutting areas, however there is active logging for much of this trail. The logging equipment has left the road covered with several inches of loose dust. Weekdays bring a CB as there will be logging equipment blocking the road but they will make way if they see you or if you call them on the CB. still a nice drive and the views are great.
