Trail Overview
Kim & Monica's is a 1.6-mile-long ATV trail designated for 48" or less vehicles. It goes through a forest full of tall skinny red alder trees, sword ferns, red cedars, and Douglas firs. It's decently wide for most of the trail, but there are sections where the trail is pretty narrow between the bushes, and where the rocks and roots encroach over the trail, creating narrower pinch points that would be more difficult for an ATV. The trail itself is mostly easy, being smooth dirt with some whoops and small embedded rocks. It has easy features like small roots across the trail, slight grades going up and down, and constant curves, including a couple of tighter hairpins. Watch out for ruts, mud, and troughs where ATVs would have to find the high points. The trail has been very well maintained, with cement pavers to prevent erosion and wooden bridges over a creek crossing.
Difficulty
The majority of this trail is very easy for 48" ATVs. It does have a few more narrow spots between bushes and rocks/roots lining the trail, and riders must navigate small embedded roots and rocks and tight turns.
