Trail Overview

This gentle path is along the East Fork Lewis River. You will find yourself amongst beautiful trees, waterfalls, and free campgrounds. Having recently experienced a fire in 21-22 offshooting paths may see burn damage. This road is calm and leads deeper into the forest and gives access to lots of off-roading experiences.

Difficulty

Compact gravel makes up most of the path with little to none in the way of obstacles.

History

Nearby fires in 2021 and 2022 have left this road as a pocket of green but locally they are easy to reach old burn zones.

Nice easy trial. Mostly gravel but towards the turn around point it’s dirt. Rained pretty hard the day before so a little muddy but easy to handle. Few people camping. Turn offs side of the road for beautiful views of the creek. Recommend

super chill spot! lots of places to disburse camp and explore! lots of little swimming holes and waterfalls! this particular spot was both spacious and close to the water! only down side, is a lack of service. I was able to connect on my weboost, however, I didn't have access to the network! otherwise, it was perfect! this location was about a mile or 2 in from when the gravel starts. it's a very narrow entrance into the camp spot. perfect for subies and jeeps!

The trail has some very deep potholes but can be navigated by most rigs. if a minivan can make it your good. Bob and weave. beautiful views, and some good camp spots. I'm out there almost every weekend
