Trail Overview

639 is a short dirt bike trail that connects 952 at its entrance on FS 1922, down closer to the Crow Creek Campground, so that dirt bikers can avoid some of the forest road and take the trail instead. The trail is one mile long, and it mostly descends from south to north, with a bit of loose rock in the trail, but you can mostly pick a good line through all the loose rock on the smooth parts. The descent is very gradual, with only one steeper spot mid-way through. Part of the trail is narrow like a single track, while other portions are wider like a two-track or road. It goes through a wide tree corridor and is well used, with a few whoops and brake bumps and ruts. The trail is very dusty and silty.
