Trail Overview
Adventure awaits once the pavement ends. Following alongside the Twisp River, this road leads to several campgrounds and trailheads in the area. It is a nice wide road, 2WD friendly, and is maintained for access to those destinations. The road is washboarded in sections and there are several large water diversion 'gutters' that you'll encounter. Towards the end of the trail, the towering peaks that come into view are rather spectacular. Access to the furthest campground - Roads End Campground - was closed (at the time of mapping). The area is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months. No cell service.
