Trail Overview

This trail is a side road off Beckler going to Evergreen Mountain Trailhead. It is a mostly dusty dirt and rock road with a few shallow creek crossings to navigate. Cell signal was intermittent to no service at all with AT&T. There are several stunning viewpoints along with smaller spots to set up camp near the end of the trailhead. This is a nice trail for 4x4 and Moto alike.

Difficulty

Standard dirt road with smaller rocks and a couple of shallow creek crossings. These may become deeper during spring or fall when rainfall is heavier. There are no washes or other challenging obstacles.

Was a very nice ride, my rear wheel drive van did fine on this trail, and the hike up to the fire lookout was beautiful but took another hour or so up hill from the trailhead. Super quiet secluded dirt road with some washboarding and potholes, and as of the first day of fall the two water crossings were small to say the least, probably less than an inch deep. The whole time I was up there I was thinking about how nice it would be to be on a dirt bike, cause there were some side trails too rough for my old van.
