Trail Overview

This short point-to point trail is part of the Reiter OHV area trail system. This trail is full of great rock obstacles to negotiate. The boulders line the sides of this trail, requiring the driver to squeeze between them. There is a great rock obstacle that is optional along this trail which is rated 7. There is one narrow section which will challenge the driver and vehicle, requiring good articulation in the suspension. Recommend minimum 35" tires with both front and rear lockers.

History

The 10,000 acre Reiter Foothills Forest is a continuous block of forest land located between the towns of Gold Bar and Index providing over 4 miles of single track motorcycle trails, 2 miles of ATV trails, and over 2 miles of challenging 4X4 trails with a high density of rock obstacles.
