Top Road

Top Road is easily accessed from I-64 and provides users with a scenic route to the top of North Mountain. This well-maintained, two-lane gravel road follows the ridgeline, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and countryside along the way. The Route is especially enjoyable in the fall when the leaves are changing or have fallen, allowing users to take full advantage of the expansive mountain views. The combination of the elevated terrain, scenic ridgeline, and well-maintained gravel surface makes this an easy and enjoyable route to explore. Top Road is easily one of my favorite trails in the area and is a must-explore for users looking to experience the beauty of North Mountain from a unique perspective.
