Trail Overview

Edinburg Gap is a minimally maintained Forest Service Road located in the George Washington National Forest. The road is one vehicle wide with plenty of space to pass and can be accessed by either end. The road passes through one shallow stream and an area of rockier terrain but is still accessible by 2WD vehicles. If traveling north, at the roads end, you have the option to exit the National Forest or continue onto Peter Mills Run for a more challenging route.

nicely maintained gravel forest road with a few scattered pot holes. it offers some nice views of the valley. can be done in just about any vehicle.

As all others have said, nice easy trail (gravel road). Good views on the southern end and wildflowers all along.

It was a pretty hard rain today. Very easy trail, it is basically a Road with how it is maintained. Very cool place to go if you are looking for a very relaxed drive. I am sure it is busy on the weekends. Seems like it would be sick on a Quad or a dirt bike.

This was a very easy trail. Pretty straight forward, with a few narrow spots but simple overall. The part of the trail that crosses the creek was not open and we had to turn back around but it was a nice first Off-Roading experience for me and the fam.

Gravel forest road with some bumpy spots but otherwise easy to navigate. We even crossed paths with a 4 door sedan on the route. Couple of nice spots to pull aside and enjoy the view.
