CC52 is a short but moderately easy 300-yard trail featuring a continuous steep climb from west to east. The route includes narrow, tight switchbacks with embedded rock layers and loose rock, making traction important--especially in slick conditions. The trail follows a shelf cut into the hillside with ruts and ramp-like exposed rock layers, adding a mild technical challenge despite its short length.
