Trail Overview

CC42 is a short connector trail linking State Route 718 (an ATV-permitted road) back into the Coal Canyon trail system to CC40. This wide, easy route crosses open meadows with scenic views of the surrounding mountain tops. The surface features minor loose rock but poses no technical challenges, making it a smooth transition into the trail network.
