Trail Overview

This route is partially a state-numbered road and NF route. The surface is primarily gravel with many water crossings. The water level is highly dependent on local conditions and can be over 36" deep at times. There are numerous dispersed campsites in the area. No cell service in the area.

It was a simple trail. The only concerns were the few stream crossing which made us uneasy if water was going to get into the engine block. Super fun though for a newbie like me.

Great early spring run, but the creek is high and moving well. One crossing the water hit 36”, most were half that. Plenty of privacy. Enjoy!

Great views and great trail for a stock Jeep. Only saw 1 other vehicle the whole trip; narrow road but plenty of places to back-up and let someone pass. Recent rain caused us to have to turn around at the 7 mile mark (FR-224 which was closed) because a water crossing was too deep for us. Once the water comes down we plan to finish the trail but no regrets and worth the drive!
