Trail Overview

This route is partially a state-numbered road and NF route. The surface is primarily gravel with many water crossings. The water level is highly dependent on local conditions and can be over 36" deep at times. There are numerous dispersed campsites in the area. No cell service in the area.

We’re in the middle of a drought and the water levels are extremely down. On some of the crossings, it was just driving over rock because the water level is so low.

The bigger water crossings have dried up. Still plenty of fun in my Compass Trailhawk. Also saw a Tahoe Z71 and a Nissan Pathfiner out there.
