Trail Overview
A quick spur through an easily accessible forest trail set on the west side of the Green Mountain National Forest. This spunky trail may be short, but the sounds of being in the middle of nowhere quickly consume you. While traversing slightly rutted dirt tracks, you'll come upon a couple of small hills and one larger hill, which will require 4WD to climb in wet conditions. Along the route, you'll come across some opportunities to take your adventure on foot with a couple of pull-offs to park. This mostly single-vehicle-width trail has a cluster of boulders that enhance the serenity and offer a spot to take in a view of the mountains to the west. At the end, there is a beautiful, large turnaround suited for camping, where you'll be greeted with a large stream to the west- an ideal place to kick back and relax.
Difficulty
An unmaintained dirt trail that can have multiple mud holes and ruts. Large mud tracks will appear during wet conditions, requiring 4WD. Overall, easy terrain. Mostly one lane wide with places to pass or park along the trail.
