Trail Overview
The north end of this trail starts at a parking area and vault toilet off of Geyser Pass, and makes a short loop around the area for 1.5 miles. It’s a quick and easy trail that younger or newer ATV riders could make while camped nearby. The trail is wide and easy, covered in small loose rocks or sticks, with minor ruts and occasional bigger embedded rocks. The first half follows a steady descent through a ponderosa pine forest, making a couple of turns at unmarked intersections, and eventually it brings you back to the parking area. The second half is a gradual incline back north. The trail is mostly smooth dirt and very easy, without any bigger obstacles, but there is potential for log hazards in this forest terrain. There were a couple of small branches down that did not impede accessibility. It pops out near a couple of dispersed camp sites at the end of the loop. The trail was marked with an ATV designation sign at the north entrance, but the rest of the intersections were unmarked.
