Trail Overview
Top of the World is a very popular trail located outside Moab. Its relatively easy as far as Moab is concerned, and the scenery factor is very high. Its also easily done in a half day making it a good shorter option. You end on the brink of a huge cliff.

Definitely more than a 5. We had a group of 5 trucks and with a 1 hour lunch/winch break it took 5 hours and 20 minutes to get to the top, and another couple hours to come back down. We did intentionally take hard lines, so it could be done quicker but don’t think you’re just gonna pop right up to the end of this trail. 2 rigs on 35s w/ lockers and 3 on 37s with lockers.

As others have mentioned, the rating for this trail seems quite low these days due to heavy use and erosion. The views at the end were worth the struggle and long time in the seat to me though

Trail seems like it's an easy day until you get to the big main obstacle, and even the bypass is now more difficult. Don't go alone as the two groups had broken axles or driveshafts when we were there. The view at the top is unbelievable. There are lots of ledges where if you don't have armor or high clearance/approach angles, you'll bang on some rocks. It's a great trail but not easy anymore.

Rating on this is a joke. It’s more like an 8. SxS have tore this trail up bad.
