Trail Overview

This single-track trail connects the Timpanooke parking lot to Timpooneke Forest Road. From the parking lot riding west, the trail climbs to the next intersection with Bear Canyon Spur and features several big rock sections. These rocks are basketball-sized or larger, embedded in the ground, and create ledges you'll ride over. Further west, the trail mellows out some with well-manicured sections through the woods and field areas. When you aren't in a rocky section, the trail is pretty tame.

A great tight single track option up AF canyon that’s not even close to as busy as tibble fork area. Not a single hiker or horseback rider on a midday Saturday ride. The first part of the trail is a tough rock scramble but once you get past that it’s flowy and minimal rocks with some roots and a pretty big log hop. Most of the trail is in the forest and dense brush but it eventually dumps you out in some beautiful flowery meadows at the “base” of Timpanogas. Well worth the ride.
