Trail Overview

Steel Bender is a great off-road trail in the Moab area. It has fun obstacles, amazing scenery, pictographs, water crossings and deep canyons. It has a bit of everything, and a few different ways to do it. There is basically a loop with entrances on either side. The north route climbs a long, but easy waterfall-type obstacle and the south route goes through Flat Pass offering amazing scenery and the pictographs.

Not for the faint of heart. This trail is a beautiful trail and if you just take it to the falls and turn around you won’t regret it. Travel north to south if you want to go down the falls just know your holes gonna pucker.
