Trail Overview

This route starts at the Radio Towers on Droubay Road and rides along the Rail Road tracks heading north, and about 3 miles up, you veer off to the east up the mountain toward the landslide on the hill. Once you are next to the fence line, you will go through a bit of a rock garden and then see a small gate you enter to the north and zig-zag the switchbacks up to the lookout. This will put you just under the Tramway Slide historic site. After the rock garden by the gate, this trail can only be accessed by motorcycle.

Difficulty

The first 3/4 of the trail is pretty easy, but then you get to a rock garden with only a single track. There are some rutted areas and loose rocky terrain that make this a 4.

A make shift fence was pulled across the trail to block out visitors/ trail goers maybe a half mile before the radio tower. The fence looked unofficial like random person ran barb wire post to seal off the trail.
