Trail Overview

If you find yourself near Flaming Gorge looking for a good spot to camp, Pipeline East Road is an excellent spot to set up shop and explore a bit. For the most part, the road is an out-and-back gravel washboard track on a small peninsula, but there are a few fun ATV trails and routes on it. Other than corrugations, there are zero obstacles. Cell service is available, but there are no services or facilities.

Difficulty

It's an easy two-way road without any obstacles. There may be a few as you get down to the water to find a campsite, but people do bring large travel trailers regularly.

The road was dusty but fine. There were some cows but you can do this road in 2wd

Road has bad wash board in the beginning. smooths out closer to the water. Lots of really nice camp sites near water. Looks like they fill up fast though. Beautiful camping if you can get a spot out on the point.
