Paiute Side Trail 53 (FS 41225)

Trail Overview

Paiute Side Trail 53 connects Dry Creek Road (FS 40183) to Monroe Mountain Rd (FS 40068) on the east, just south of Upper Box Creek Reservoir. It's a nice full-width shortcut trail to cross between Manning Meadows Reservoir and Upper Box Creek. This trail has some erosion due to run-off, and in places, the erosion is right in the middle of the trail. There are some rocks, but it's not a hard trail. You go by another spring-fed pond, which increases the likelihood of seeing wildlife here.
