Trail Overview

If you come to this area, be extra prepared. It's an extremely remote area, and its unlikely you would get any timely help with any issues. This canyon is best on an ATV, but could also be done as a long day hike, or in a modified 4x4 vehicle. The Deeps are a very high range and very scenic. It's extremely important to stay on the traveled roads and trails, and to treat the area with respect so we can all enjoy it for years to come.Could be impassable with snow during winter.

Trail was rocky for the first half but not bad slow climbing in 4 wheel drive. Then the switch backs are smooth to the top lots to see. If you can bring a chain saw some of the fingers off the top had trees fallen over blocking further exploration. Can make it to the mine no problem. Didn’t touch the skid once in my 2 seat maverick x3 on 32s. Would recommend moving at decent speed takes about 3 hours
