Trail Overview

This trial offers scenic vistas from both the canyon and the summit. There is alternative access to/from Randolph and Little Creek Campground up to the Shoshone trail system and Garden City/Bear Lake areas via connecting trails. The trail ranges from smooth fast graded dirt to rocky/cobble with no real major obstacles, but lots of scenic views and wildlife. It is interesting to see the ecosystem changes from desert sage to thick pine and aspen at higher elevations. This is a generally easy-going trail.

Three fallen trees, first one was easy to get around, second one was very difficult to get around and most will not make it, and the third one wasn’t bad to pass, but don’t waste your time passing trees because as soon as you get through them you’ll hit a gigantic snow pack, non passable by any vehicle
