Trail Overview

This beautiful trail meanders through the lower Uinta Mountains. It has its challenges, though, with lots of rocks varying in size, and in early season, lots of mud and water crossings, or even snow. By the end of the trail, it opens into a large meadow surrounded by trees, which is great for camping. One thing to note is that there is a gate about halfway in to keep livestock in and out. You are able to move this fence out of the way, just make sure to close it so no cattle escape.

Difficulty

This trail features several rock gardens and some large rocks that require a good driver and a well-capable vehicle to get around. There are also numerous water crossings and mud pits in the early season, along with snow.

Trail is clear all the way to the top. A few areas with water/mud on the trail but nothing crazy.
