Trail Overview

The North Crosscut trail is a beautiful red dirt trail that rolls through the pasture land on top of a beautiful mesa. This trail has no obstacles on it, other than the spotty erosion and sneaky rocks. At first glance, you might think you're crossing the vast plains of Wyoming or South Dakota, with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Flanked on each end by paved state highways, this is an easy cut-through trail that is remote, peaceful, and fun.

Difficulty

While only one lane wide, the trail has plenty of room to pull off to let others pass. This road has gentle rolling hills and is safe for most vehicles. While dirt, this road could turn muddy and challenging after a rain or moisture event.
