Muddy Creek Wilderness Trail

This section of trail offers fun variety as it snakes its way through both a canyon floor and on top of a plateau. It's primarily easy on rating with some softer sections possible. The canyon floor is a Baja truck's dream--fun turns around every corner. Up on the plateau, there are a few sections with steep drop-offs on the side. Staying on the trail, you'll be just fine--just don't wander too far off. Shrub overgrowth into the trail is possible, so those who mind pinstriping on their rig have been warned. The landscape views are pretty remarkable. There is no service on the trail;it's very remote so plan accordingly.
