Trail Overview

This is a shortcut down to Currant Creek Reservoir. You start down and go through aspen trees and have a beautiful view of Currant Creek from up high. Be warned as the snow melts late causing some big mudholes. The road was regraded in 2022, to fix some mudholes.

I was on an adventure bike. This is rated a 2/10 where as currant ridge is a 4/10. I will say there were some steep grades and deep wash outs. If you are new to adventure bike riding this would probably scare the daylights out of you. Especially if you're going down the grade rather than up. But if you complete it on your adv bike, congrats! You're doing more than most adv bike owners.

Some small pockets of mud which can sometimes be avoided, otherwise an easy trail. It had rained overnight but the majority of the trail was dry
