Trail Overview

This is a pretty simple road that most cars could make it up. The only thing that would make this difficult is some of the deep ruts with thick mud in the springtime. In the summer the puddles and mud are usually dried up but are much deeper and thicker in the spring and fall time. Note that the side trails are all private property so don't ignore the signs and fences. The trail eventually ends at a gate so just turn around there.

Lovely little trail - mostly well maintained, some rocky sections with loose rocks mostly 2-4” in size. For me in my Subaru, there were some fun more technical bits with some mildly deep ruts, but if you’re in something with higher clearance it’d be a breeze. I did have to turn around after 2.4 miles, as there was a deteriorated section of the road that I didn’t feel like doing, with pretty deep and uneven ruts (see last photo). If you’re in any other vehicle better than mine, you’ll be fine. Fun trail!

Dirt road with no snow on trail until you hit about 6600ft elevation, or about halfway. Snow was hard packed and gave decent traction. Some ruts past the halfway point. Trail ends at gate 4 miles in
