Trail Overview

This trail takes you around Little Mountain. The trail starts easy but becomes progressively more difficult as you climb the hill. The central hill is steep and full of rock gardens and loose rocks. Coming down the other side can get complicated if the conditions are not dry. At the end of coming around the mountain is a deep ditch to watch out for. I recommend doing this trail clockwise, and when the conditions are dry--full 5G cell service along the entire route. Plenty of camp spots along the beginning portion, but once the trek around Little Mountain begins, it's a two-trackroute with no pullouts.

Rock gardens abound starting from the 8pm to 12am position of the loop, it's rough going without airing down. lots of little wash ruts to go through and one deep one i dont think a full size pickup would manage without going a little off trail due to how steep it is. saw lots of wild horses, fun little loop.
