Trail Overview

This trail runs between Running Water Spring and Curtis Creek Road. This trail is tight with little room to pass as it winds through the forest and is very rocky on the Curtis Creek side as it follows the ridge, and then becomes dusty/sandy with tree roots to crawl over once you drop down into the forest. While being open to all vehicles, vehicles that are wider or have a longer wheelbase will struggle once off the ridge as it is a tight and winding road, most vehicles will get pinstriping. Approaching from Curtis Creek side, there is a large open overlook area about 1.7 miles into the trail that makes a good place to turn around if you came just for the overlook and views from the ridge. This trail is open year round but is inaccessible during the winter and spring due to snow and could be impassable due to mud during the year.
