Trail Overview

Lake CR Currant Creek provides access to the Uinta National Forest from Heber, Utah. This road is gravel, wide enough for two lanes of traffic, and provides some camping, high alpine views, and access to many other trails in the area. Don't expect good cell coverage, but do expect a bit of a bumpy ride as there are long sections of washboarding. Watch out for loose livestock on the road.

Difficulty

This is a very easy gravel road with long sections of washboarding. The road is wide enough for two vehicles and may be safely accessed by some 2WD vehicles.

Got up to around 9,400 fr before hitting snow that was impassable. You can go around it and get to the split in the road but that’s about it. I would wander with caution as the snow is melting and soft and easy eats trucks and side by sides
