Trail Overview

With a name like Inspiration Point, this trail begs to be explored. The trail itself is not especially long, but it is also not especially easy. Expect a very narrow trail with several off-camber sections, steep climbs, awkward corners, and rock gardens filled with large rocks. The way to Inspiration Point is all downhill, making for an easier trip in than out. With no room to pass, you can only hope you don't encounter another vehicle along the journey. Upon reaching the point, the journey has been more than worth it with some absolutely amazing views of Logan Canyon and Cache Valley. Take some time to soak in the views and maybe even take in lunch. There are a few great campsites along the way as well. This trail was done in a Tacoma SR5. No lockers or other off-road gizmos. Just upgraded tires and some armor. As long as you have 4LO and take it slow, this trail is totally doable. This trail also accesses the Logan Dry Mill Hollow motorcycle, hiking, and horse trail if you want to check that out.
