Trail Overview
We didn't choose this trail name, the FS or someone else did, but don't let it scare you off. We didn't see any part of the trail that warranted the name, but it leads also to the Hells Hole hiking trail. Perhaps you find "Hell's Hole" on the hike. This track goes through a pasture where bulls are kept in the springtime. No gates to open, no water crossings, and maybe a little mud near the pond at the west-most point of the trail. It's a way to see a bit more of this fabulous area around Marysvale, UT. If the Papa Bear Poker Run 2021 trail is crowded, or you need a bypass for any reason, this is a good option. You cross part of Forshea Mtn where the sunflowers are abundant. In February of 2023, Utah began enforcement of a new law, which requires an online education course for all off-roaders. The free course is available online. Google "Utah OHV Education Course," and the free test will pop up. It's an easy test that will only take 15-30 minutes, and it's required for all off-roaders, Jeeps, SXSs, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Kids under the age of 18 will have to take the Youth Education Test at the same site. After completing the test, print out the certificate to carry with you which shows you completed the course. We have taken it, and it's really no big deal--good reminders about trail etiquette and trail preservation.
