Trail Overview

Frank Young Canyon Trail is a short trail near the middle of the Payson/Mount Nebo trail system. This trail breaks off from Rock Spring and runs South, where it ends at FS 015 (paved road). The total trail length is 1.3 miles, and you gain 300 feet of elevation traveling South. The track begins in a large open field before going through a barbed wire gate and into the woods. The woods section narrows a little and has some overgrowth on both sides of the trail. The ground surface is packed dirt and has only a few sections of smaller embedded rocks.

Difficulty

This trail has no major obstacles. Watch out for the barbed wire cattle gate not far from the Rock Spring Trail.
